Jamaica Funks Show is throwing a Festival of Music. We are raising money for the Ronald Mc Donald House Charities near Comer Children's Hospital. Ronald McDonald House supports families in need of lodging, while their children are in extended stay at Comer Hospital. We are also holding a Blood Drive at Harold Washington Cultural Center to bring attention to the African American community to generously give blood. Why? Because statistics show only 1% of African Americans give blood in the United States. We want to raise awareness of this problem and remind each other that we are responsible for our community. So let's show up and show out and donate some blood.
